Long Description

This position, in the Customer Programs and Products group, with guidance from their Manager or the Program & Product manager, coordinates initiatives for the development, implementation and operation of new and established program and product offerings for the Avangrid Networks companies. This position will be responsible for the accounting, budgeting, tracking and program performance analysis for energy efficiency programs. This is accomplished through a comprehensive knowledge internal policies and procedures, programs and products this position supports and collaboration with internal stakeholders


MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):Performs accounting and budgeting functions for energy efficiency programs in accordance to company standards and systems. Supports departmental financial activities through the development and monitoring of budget reports, creating and tracking of purchase requisitions/orders and invoices, accruals, journal entries and variance reporting. (50%, P). Provides excellent customer service throughout all phases of customer or prospective customer participation in programs and products with a comprehensive knowledge of energy efficiency programs, utility rates, tariffs and policies and financing/incentive programs. (10%, P). Work collaboratively with key internal departments such as Operations, Engineering, Sales, Conservation and Load Management on a regular basis. Responsible for the identification and implementation of initiatives to optimize efficiency by employing a continuous process improvement methodology to reduce costs and increase revenue.. (10%, S). Applies knowledge and skills to resolve a wide range of complex issues associated with program or product inquiries from customers, regulators or vendors. (10%, S). Assumes a primary role in special assignments as directed by management to support the overall initiatives and goals of the organization. (10%, S).

Skills and Requirements

Education & Experience Required: Bachelor’s Degree with 3 - 5 years accounting, budgeting, data analysis, and energy efficiency programs or customer service experience. Associate's Degree with 5 years accounting, budgeting, data analysis, and energy efficiency programs or customer service experience. Knowledge in the areas of utility related energy efficiency programs, budgets, program performance and reporting. Advanced SAP and Excel ability is preferred.

Skills/Abilities: Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Office, SAP, etc.). Attention to detail and proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks while providing excellent customer service. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to maximize effectiveness by use of time management, territory management, prioritization of work and effective utilization of all resources. Strong cross functional team skills and a desire to serve co-workers. Ability to occasionally work evening and weekend hours. Ability to travel when required.
