Eversource Energy Substation Technical Engineering Intern in Berlin, Connecticut

Intern will assist department engineers and lead engineers with routine and special projects involving one of the following Eversource Engineering groups: Substation Engineering, Protection & Controls Engineering, Substation Technical Engineering, Transmission Line Engineering, or Capital Projects Engineering. These projects will include completing activities and assignments associated with improving the safe and reliable design and operation of the electrical transmission and distribution system. The Intern will learn basic utility engineering concepts applicable to the group they are placed in and will also learn the principles of good customer service and electric reliability.

This position is expected to be on-site with occasional work in the field, all subject to Covid guidelines.

Position Requirements:

Student needs to be pursuing an Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering Degree. Ideal candidate will have technical and analytical background and experience. Software experience includes Microsoft Office Suite.
