Position Specific Description

We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Production Technician (Outside Power Plant Operator – Combined Cycle). This operations position will require shift work; 12 hour rotating shifts, 0500 to 1700, and 1700 to 0500. The selected candidate for this position will be responsible for operating a 300 MW combined cycle power plant in Bellingham, MA.

Additional Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Massachusetts Second Class Fireman’s license is required, with a willingness and commitment to advance to a Second Class Engineer or higher.

Job Overview

Employees in this position perform power plant operations as well as maintenance on station equipment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Under general supervision:

  • Repairs and calibrates equipment

  • Monitors equipment performance through testing

  • Applies advanced electrical, mechanical, or I and C skills

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED

  • Experience: 2+ years

  • Valid Driver’s License (NON-CDL)
