Entergy Transmission Right-of-Way Analyst in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
Perform/create analysis, estimates, and forecasts related to projects in all phases of development, execution, and those on the horizon. Creates and maintains contract blankets and blanket releases. Compiles performance information related to project cost & schedule with accompanying reports. Provides analytical expertise to support project & portfolio management. Serves as Transmission Right of Way’s (TROW’s) work management system SME, continuous improvement lead, and TROW’s records coordinator.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create, develop, maintain the project/portfolio dashboard with focus on presenting data maintaining adherence to project cost and schedule milestones.
Perform analytics, estimates, forecasts, and reporting of contract spend at the individual contract-release and blanket-contract level.
Interface with project teams as necessary for cost control monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
Lead all current and future continuous improvement initiatives inclusive of those in Wave.
Serve as the point of contact for audits related to PRF transactions.
Lead in the creation of a new document management system that will combine document data with GIS (geographic information system); assist in the maintenance of that system on a forward going basis
Create/develop mechanism and means by which to transition applicable project data (at the individual project level) to PowerBI; develop trend analytics to inform current/ future projects.
Create and maintain new and existing contracts within Maximo; assist with invoicing issues within Maximo.
Fulfill a leadership role in TROW’s RFP process inclusive of vendor scoring, selection, and contract creation.
Own & maintain TROW’s work management/project assignment system.
Own & maintain TROW’s SharePoint site.
Serve as TROW’s records custodian.
Actively participate in incident-management events (i.e., storm recovery).
Actively participate in corporate, business unit, workgroup, safety, DIB, and community volunteer initiatives.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum education required of the position
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in technical field or business.
Minimum experience required of the position
Analyst II: 2-4 years of professional experience.
Analyst III: 4-6 years of professional experience.
Analyst Sr.: 6+ years of professional experience.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position
Analytical skillset with advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
Desired:
Some proficiency in Maximo, PowerBi, GIS systems
Transmission capital project development & execution
Any Certificates, Licenses, etc.:
Desired:
Training or education in leadership, project management, real estate, property law, property appraisal, negotiating, persuasive writing, interpersonal communications, and conflict resolution.
