Expected salary range of $121,500 to $135,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

This role is responsible to design, deploy and operate a secure cloud application infrastructure that aligns with business needs and drive implementation of high priority initiatives. This role requires collaboration with leadership, business partners, vendors and project/design team, in all aspects of cyber security and Cloud infrastructure throughout Constellation's environment. This Sr. Cyber Security Engineer will participate in the development of documentation, process & standards to enable transition to support the organization in day-to-day operations. Provide technical solutions to project managers and stakeholders for specific deployment & migrations of cyber security solutions in the Cloud. Provides support in a lead role for Audits, Regulatory Requirements Reviews, Incident Response, Disaster Recovery and other aspects of a Cyber Security Program. The Sr. Cyber Security Engineer will share in-depth technical knowledge, guidance, and mentoring for high visibility Cyber solutions, implementations, and migration initiatives. Expert ability to provide high value through in-depth & complex technical collaboration, focused on requirements, design, implementation, integration, performance, optimization, and support of Cyber Security solutions that align with business goals and overall infrastructure enhancement needs and requirements. This role must have a thorough understanding and strong demonstration of network infrastructure, Cloud Infrastructure, including software as a service (SaaS), infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS), firewall, intrusion detection systems, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), technologies and how they strategically intersect with business requirements. This candidate will lead projects and/or project steps and be accountable for achieving the objects related to cyber security and network infrastructure work. Will be required work in a highly autonomous manner and be required travel to support implementation of initiatives & projects.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead the development and deployment of projects by sharing expertise on current systems

  • Provide in-depth technical expertise for maintaining performance and reliability of key IT solutions

  • Drive innovation across the organization by identifying and providing analysis of trends and issues with the goal to drive new business opportunities and solve complex business problems

  • Maintain and enhance engagement with business and IT partners

  • Actively participate and maintain required qualifications and/or certifications for job role

  • Ability to provide on-call support after normal business hours

  • Develop and maintain secure, resilient enterprise-grade cloud processes in tandem with architects and system engineers.

  • Secure business applications and computing environments across public, private or hybrid cloud infrastructures.

  • Protect business applications in compliance with privacy, security, business resiliency and compliance frameworks as defined in corporate policies.

  • Deploy strong identity and access management (IDAM) controls across applications and computing environments.

  • Attend regular technical project and implementation meetings and serve as the security consultant to help guide secure application and infrastructure configurations.

  • Actively monitor, assess and recommend tactical and strategic initiatives based on new and emerging threats posing risk to cloud computing environments.

  • Manage remediation efforts after security assessment findings outline weaknesses requiring attention.

  • Manage and administer Cloud Native Application Protection Platform

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and 5 to 8 years relevant experience in Networking and Cyber Security or 9 -12 years of relevant education & experience.

  • At least 2-3+ years exposure with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.

  • Demonstrate expert technical depth in required discipline

  • Excellent communications skills - Able to effectively communicate highly technical information in non- technical terminology (written and verbal).

  • Understanding and lead change management processes associated with technology implementations

  • Understanding of project management principles

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, based on business needs

  • In-depth knowledge of Server and Workstation Operating Systems (Windows / Linux), along with command prompt knowledge

  • In-depth knowledge in IP based switching, routing, and network environments (ex. Cisco)

  • In-depth knowledge of Security Information Event Management (SIEM) solutions (ex. Splunk, Nitro, Industrial Defender)

  • In-depth knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.

  • In-depth knowledge of firewall operations (ex. Cisco & Checkpoint)

  • In-depth knowledge of cyber security practices for an enterprise environment

  • In-depth knowledge of cyber security program elements such as Policy Development, Application Security, Information Security, Network Security, Disaster Recovery Planning, Operational Security, Incident Response, and End User Education

  • Ability to travel to support implementation of initiatives & projects.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional CISSP

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or additional AWS advanced certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate or additional Azure advanced certifications
