Primary Purpose

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

This position is responsible for the daily management of Credit Risk activities with primary focus on managing Third-Party Collections. This includes daily management of third-party collections programs, interactions with vendors, responding to inquiries, tracking performance, analytics on trending of performance and processing invoices.

This position will require the ability work autonomously on routine items, interact with internal and external stakeholders, support projects and initiatives and recommend process improvements to optimize recoveries.

Primary Duties

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Execute daily activities of the recovery program including cash reconciliations, internal and external inquiries/requests, resolving customer complaints and supporting internal Utility partners.

  • Interact with internal and external third-party vendors including scheduling and organizing meetings.

  • Track performance results, KPI’s and analytics on trending

  • Support projects/initiatives to optimize recovery processes.

Job Scope

JOB SCOPE

  • Handling issues, exceptions, inquiries with third party agencies

  • Compile business requirements for any change request or enhancements from billing system or changes to Third Party Collections platform.

  • Thorough understanding and usage of DebtNext platform

  • Receivables cash reconciliations

  • Settlement processing

  • Potential fraud identification

  • Reporting – monthly, quarterly, annually. Internal and external stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related degree

  • 2-4 years of experience in a business-related field

  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills with ability to handle multiple duties

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with commercial and functional partners, external counterparties, vendors, and senior level executives within Credit and Finance.

  • Must be self-motivated and possess excellent time management skills

  • Strong computer, spreadsheet and analytical skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced energy company.

  • Credit and Collections Experience

  • CCB and/or SAP Experience

  • PowerPoint Experience

  • Data Analysis Experience

  • Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors:USD $64,000.00/Yr. - USD $96,000.00/Yr.
