Your Impact at SAM
The Internal Communications Coordinator supports our internal communications and employer brand, across the web and social media. In addition, they will work with our teams in fostering employee engagement and developing creative marketing campaigns and collateral. This role may require physical demands and expectations of travel. The role is based in Austin, TX, with a hybrid work schedule.
Develop corporate communications, campaigns concepts, and messaging for internal audiences including all-employee emails, company updates, internal newsletter, employee Intranet, electronic message boards, social media, blogs, etc.
Produce and publish Instagram graphic and Reel content for engagement and report on metrics
Create supporting graphics for internal and external communications
Collaborate with other departments to develop and support employer branding initiatives and company-wide employee engagement and communication efforts
Provides creative direction for the development and maintenance of employer brand identity and production for visual design solutions including graphics, brochures, mailings, info graphics, multimedia presentations, photography, video, and intranet resources
Prepares communications and outreach related to employee relations initiatives, articles for publication, award submissions, and other media engagement
Produces expert-level writing and provides editorial oversight for written internal communications
Assist in the creation of style guides and brand voice outlines for internal communication channels to support a holistic employee experience that drives company culture
Works closely with vendor and consultant relations for internal communications efforts
Supports the Company to achieve its vision and mission, while successfully practicing its core values related to employees, ethics, operational excellence, safety, integrity and corporate social responsibility
Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the Company’s strategic goals
What You Bring to SAM
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts of Marketing or Communications or equivalent/related work experience
1-3 years of industry experience and/or marketing and communication experience
Superior communication and copywriting skills
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office
Advanced knowledge in social media platforms
Ability to multi-task and meet challenging deadlines
Self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
