One Gas Energy Efficiency Program Assistant in Austin, Texas
Coordinate rebate processing and reporting of Energy Efficiency Programs, as well as, provide support for education and outreach activities.
Support Energy Efficiency Program and other programs by, including but not limited to:
Processing rebates for new construction, commercial and Free Equipment program customers
Answering customer phone calls and e-mails regarding rebate inquiries
Running budgeting and compliance reports on a monthly basis
Assisting with yearly program evaluation activities
Refine and update processes, procedures and reporting tools to increase efficiencies and ensure accurate and timely data collection.
Assist with oversight of third-party vendors and community groups that provide data to Energy Efficiency Program and other programs, including analyzing contractor pricing, when applicable.
Prepare reporting of the Energy Efficiency Program participant and rebate counts to ensure internal and external customers receive information in a timely manner.
Create, document and update process flows for Energy Efficiency Program projects and initiatives.
Coordinate and interact with other company department personnel on special projects involving Energy Efficiency Program web and data projects.
Assist with the planning and staffing of education and outreach events, including phone and face-to-face interaction with internal and external customers.
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION
Minimum of 2 years of administrative-related experience
Experience interfacing with internal and/or external customers
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Solid experience with professional correspondence, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with PowerBI
Experience in the following areas:
Familiarity with company’s Energy Efficiency Program including, policies and procedures.
Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software.
Demonstrated ability to provide accurate and timely reports.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, research, and solve customer problems.
Experience working with various databases
Experience interacting and communicating effectively.
Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
Applicable driver's license.
Mobility to travel in and around office and outdoor environments and job sites.
Ability to operate tools and equipment during demonstrations and presentations.
Communication requirements: Communicate and/or exchange information; conduct oral presentations.
Visual requirements: Sufficient to perform job duties.
