Project Controls Supervisor (E7) – Project Controls, Schedule
JOB SUMMARY
The Project Controls Schedule Supervisor will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for a team of scheduling analysts that provide support to Project Managers and Transmission by scheduling activities of land, engineering, and construction to insure completion of substation & line projects on time and within budget. This involves direct use of scheduling and budgeting systems, developing schedule goals and reporting, overseeing analysis of schedule exceptions, and providing viable alternatives and ad hoc reporting for project managers and Transmission functional managers. The Project Controls Supervisor will be responsible for fostering an inclusive team culture that builds trust and continuously enhances our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) efforts.
Job Requirements
Education
B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Business, or related field or relevant work experience beneficial
Advanced degree and/or CPA/PE/PMP certification is a plus
Experience and Knowledge
Formal supervisory experience with performance management responsibilities is a plus
Experience in Project Controls, Project Management, Construction Management is preferred
Transmission and/or Distribution experience with an electric power utility is preferred
Experience in Project Controls Management on large capital projects beneficial
Proven leadership abilities and commitment to Safety Excellence
Scheduling experience (Primavera – P6) software is preferred
Familiarity with project management principles and techniques including the Gated Process preferred
Proven experience in leading through change and/or process improvement

Additional Information
Approximately 25% travel will be required for this role.
