Position Overview:

The Market Intelligence Analyst will play a critical role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data related to market trends, customer behavior and demand, regulatory changes and their impact and competitive landscape. This position will provide valuable insights to inform growth plans, account planning and key commercial decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough and systematic research on industry trends, market dynamics, regulatory actions and changes, and competitive intelligence.

  • Collect and analyze data from various sources, including web data scraping, customer filings, market reports, and competitor profiles.

  • Manage efforts to research voice of the customer research and assess the result to identify potential impacts on commercial and operational strategies and tactics

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand growth (volume and price driven), addressable market size, share, and competitive positioning.

  • Collaborate with the commercial and account teams and regions to support their planning needs and identify opportunities and risks based on market insights.

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting actionable recommendations.

  • Stay up to date with industry news, competitive actions, and regulatory changes.

  • Identify gaps in the current market strategies and plan and propose adjustments based on data-driven insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

  • experience (five + years) in market research, competitive analysis, or business intelligence with a professional services firm or in industry

  • experience with search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Working knowledge of data warehousing, modelling, and mining

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Detail-oriented and able to synthesize complex information into concise summaries.

  • Familiarity with relevant industry sectors, regulatory agencies and market dynamics.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a related field.

  • Certification in market research or competitive intelligence.

  • Experience with CRM systems, market forecasting and customer segmentation analysis.
