The Content Strategist develops and analyzes performance of creative content that engages our audiences online and executes and optimizes content deliverables across the project life cycle.

Responsible for:

  • Creating written content for georgiapower.com and other corporate communication-owned channels to inspire and engage our core audiences

  • Developing content strategy based on business objectives and the end user’s needs

  • Overseeing content requirements and creating deliverables across the project life cycle

  • Conducting content audits, analyzing content performance and conducting gap analysis to identify opportunities for better UX or personalization

  • Creating and maintaining editorial calendars, writing style guides, metadata frameworks and overseeing website content architecture and migration plans for the integration of new content

Skills/Requirements:

  • Detail-oriented with solid writing, editing and proofreading skills across different mediums

  • Ability to develop a clear strategy for inspiring and engaging audiences

  • Ability to tell our brand story in a way that resonates with our audiences, builds trust, and evokes action

  • Analytical nature and ability to make decisions based on insights, metrics and well-reasoned analysis

  • Firm understanding of user experience and journey, SEO, SEM and personalization tools (Adobe Target)

  • Strong design sensibility

  • Strategic planning and project management experience

  • Knowledge of content management systems (Adobe Experience Manager is a plus) and basic understanding of web publishing

  • Degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism or relevant field
