Internal Title:

Tech Product Manager/Development

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Sets and owns the long-term vision and strategy, with their stakeholders and team, for our company’s products.

  • Defines the mission, goals, OKRs, KPIs and charter for their product(s) to ensure success

  • Communicates this mission and strategy to all of the relevant participants and stakeholders to ensure alignment

  • Manages the product lifecycle of their product(s) through a human centered design process in an agile and matrixed organization

  • Uses a qualitative and quantitative data driven approach to shape project priorities and feature definition

  • Collaborates closely with our lead experience designer(s) to ensure we are building the right experiences.

  • Manages and mentors product analysts and developers and empowers their teams for success

May be assigned an Electric Utilities emergency and storm role. This is a special assignment that comes into play during storms and other emergencies when the company needs to restore power or respond to other issues affecting customer service. This role may necessitate the need to work after-hours, outside of your normal schedule.

Position Summary:

The Tech Product Manager / Development leads and manages the product analyst(s) and developers, within the products they support. They will have a focus on enhancing the definition and growth of their product(s) in our organization and/or market. The role is the primary driver of the team’s product vision; overseeing the development and management of the product’s roadmap based on the adopted strategies and vision they aligned on with their stakeholders. They ensure our products are clearly defined, have clear missions, and objectives and that those objectives are met. They will be the voice of our customer and ensure we are building what our customers need, not just want.

In the case of remote work, physical presence in the office/on-site may be required to engage in face-to-face interaction and coordination of work among direct reports and co-workers.

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related work experience.

  2. 3 years leadership experience.

  3. Knowledge and expertise across multiple spectrums of large scale business operations, preferably in the Utility Sector.

  4. Excitement, curiosity, and passion for shaping the future through digital technology.

  12. Experience in agile methodologies and working on an agile team.
