Facilities Logistics Worker
Performs general cleanup and labor work at the General Office Complex
Loads, unloads and delivers items such as materials, tools, equipment, mail, moving boxes to various locations. Performs computer inquiries to identify locations, shipper, shippee or other relevant information. Performs mailroom duties such as sorting, packing and delivering mail and signing for packages.
Maintains grounds in good order, doing cleanup work, grass cutting and snow removal. Assists with installation, repair and/or removal of equipment where required.
Operates tools and equipment associated with job duties.
Operates non-CDL vehicles (weighing one ton or less) for deliveries at the General Office Complex. Operates lawn care and snow removal equipment.
Performs custodial duties such as stocking washrooms, mopping, sweeping, painting and cleaning floors and fixtures.
Performs clerical work and maintains records and forms associated with job duties.
Sorts incoming mail for distribution and dispatches outgoing mail.
Sorts mail by destination and type.
Re-addresses undeliverable mail.
Looks up locations for incomplete addresses.
Examines and delivers outgoing mail.
Weighs letters and packages for USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.
Uses other mailroom equipment (i.e. sorter) as designated.
Operates common hand and power tools, including small forklifts (maximum weight of 10,000 pounds) and other material handling (i.e. pallet jack and power carts).
Performs all duties listed in the Facilities Management Worker job description.
Performs other related duties as assigned or as necessary.
Performs unskilled manual labor at the General Office Complex as related to building maintenance and operation activities.
Candidates must meet the basic qualifications and pass all required tests or assessments to receive consideration.
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility form upon hire.
High school education or equivalent.
Possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
Ability to obtain appropriate operator's license. Ability to operate material handling equipment of a maximum weight of one ton (i.e. forklift, material cart, van or pick-up truck).
Adequate physical ability to perform manual work associated with job duties.
