AltaGas - Maintenance Scheduler
AltaGas is seeking a Scheduler to support with AltaGas' exciting expansions! Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position is responsible for assisting with the organization and management of the CMMS (Maximo), providing support for maintenance activities in the field, and developing and tracking maintenance KPIs for the business.
This position will support all of AltaGas' NWAB facilities and is based in our Grande Prairie, AB field office. Frequent travel to AltaGas' facilities will be required. Preference will be given to candidates who reside in the Grande Prairie, AB area.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Execute maintenance and reliability strategies for AltaGas' NWAB operations.
Manage work orders and maintenance tracking systems.
Provide technical support to operations engineering and field operations for the execution of maintenance activities.
Prioritize maintenance-related tasks to ensure activities are completed cost-effectively.
Communicate and support work orders issued to field operations promptly.
Utilize the Maximo system to its full capabilities.
Implement preventive maintenance systems and corrective maintenance tracking.
Assist with creating a critical parts inventory and ensure inventory is managed to minimize downtime.
Schedule and manage third-party maintenance service providers, tracking and controlling costs.
Provide support to the procurement group regarding the purchasing of maintenance parts.
Generate various facility and maintenance reports (e.g., backlog, delinquent PMs’ schedule compliance, personnel availability, and planning accuracy).
Assist with planning turnaround activities for facility maintenance.
Review and input maintenance records into Maximo.
Assist with building a bill of materials for parts related to PMs on facility equipment.
Support the maintenance department with ordering and purchasing parts for facility equipment.
Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
5+ years of related maintenance and operations experience. Previous scheduling experience is an asset.
Experience with CMMS. Maximo experience preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Skills with Microsoft Office and analytical skills.
Ability to travel to AltaGas' field locations within Alberta and British Columbia.
