Eversource Energy Energy Efficiency Consultant, Channel Team: Commercial Lighting (Hybrid) in Westwood, Massachusetts

In this role within the energy efficiency department, make a direct impact as you work with key channel partners in manufacturing and distribution, to influence the energy- efficient product supply chain.

As an Energy Efficiency Consultant for the Channel Team, you will nurture and develop manufacturer and distributor relations as well as procure vendors to deliver and administer programs to support Eversource’s supplier-driven programs. As a member of this team, you will identify new and emerging technologies that could be utilized as energy efficiency measures within our programs.

On a regular basis, you will interact with both internal teams such as program implementation, engineering, evaluation, marketing and business intelligence, as well as external partners such as regulatory authority administrators, other utility companies or program sponsors, and other energy efficiency stakeholders to work towards achieving energy efficiency goals.

This is a hybrid role. The first three months are fulltime in the office.

Reporting manager: Energy Efficiency Manager– Channel Team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide information and direction to business partners, such as manufacturer and , distributor representatives as well as and contracted vendors, to promote the development and supply of energy- efficient technologies with a focus on lighting and lighting control systems.
  • Develop and prepare RFPs for the development and execution of Request for Proposals in order to help procure program administration vendors.
  • Drive strategic activities and the nurturing of relationships with manufacturers and distributors of energy-efficient products to enhance Eversource supplier-driven programs.
  • Coordinate the development of documents and plans necessary to meet compliance requirements for rate-payer funded energy efficiency programs.
  • Execute the budgeting, invoicing, evaluation, and tracking of expenses and energy savings of assigned offerings.
  • Demonstrate proactive thought leadership within the electrical, mechanical and energy efficient product supply chain through the development and design of technology implementation strategies / initiatives.

Requirements:

Technical Knowledge/Skills:

  • Requires an understanding of and direct knowledge of the needs of the supply chain, as well as energy efficiency / renewable technologies and services as well as their application. Requires solid working understanding of financial principals and the ability to use PC desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel).

Education:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related discipline.

Experience:

  • Five (5) plus years of relevant experience in technical marketing, sales, business, project management or energy efficiency services as well as experience working with the supply chain. Experience and/or aptitude in customer service also desired.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of benefits.
