National Grid Analyst, People Analytics in Waltham, Massachusetts
_About the Position:_
Joining our brand new HR Analytics team, you’ll be at the forefront of an exciting transformation within National Grid – a transformation that aims to put more focus on our people than ever before. As a People Analytics Analyst, you’ll translate and communicate people data into actionable insights that will support current and future decision making relating to all things ‘people’. You will be seen as a credible partner by your clients who will include executives, line managers, HR business partners, and other functional leaders throughout the organization.
_Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):_
Provide analytic support to a wide variety of clients covering their people centric issues. Such support could include responding to ad-hoc data requests, producing or updating regular reports/dashboards, or crafting targeted research analysis.
Partner with HR, Finance, and IT organizations to drive process and technology improvements relating to our people data infrastructure. Serve as a subject matter expert in how data is defined and managed.
Build future HR capability by training and coaching employees on how to utilize data and analytics in their thinking. Work towards ‘demystifying’ people analytics and improving our clients’ user experience.
_Knowledge & Experience Required: _
Superior learning agility with the ability to learn independently from a variety of sources.
Established analytic capabilities and a passion for solving problems.
A strong sense of curiosity about the world and how people ‘tick’.
Sharp verbal and written communication skills including presentations.
Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.
Demonstrated teamwork experience.
Bachelor’s Degree; or equivalent experience required within a large organization.
Prior work experience in an HR or Analytics role.
