Responsible for execution of the corrective action program, including human performance, industrial safety, and performance improvement activities at the assigned Entergy Nuclear plant.
Drive site CA practices to fleet standards. Monitor performance of department corrective action coordinators.
Ensure site Corrective Action Review Boards function as designed to identify issues and events at an appropriately low threshold. Facilitate and monitor the site's analysis of condition reports to ensure the appropriate level of analysis is performed.
Provide organizational guidance, direction, and leadership for site industrial safety and human performance activities to ensure safe, reliable, cost efficient operation. Ensure compliance with fleet safety and human performance procedures and requirements.
Provide organizational guidance, direction, and leadership for site performance improvement and change management activities. Ensure compliance with fleet performance improvement and change management procedures and requirements.
Represents the fleet at meetings with industry, regulators, INPO, etc. to discuss and resolve matters effecting nuclear plant operating experience and corrective action.
Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Organization and the site outage organization.
Minimum education required of the position
BS Degree in Engineering or other scientific discipline generally associated with power plant operations or equivalent experience. (Equivalent Experience is defined as demonstrated success at the Manager level. A degree is very strongly preferred.)
Minimum experience required of the position
8 years of experience in nuclear power plant operations. 3 years supervisory/management experience in an operating nuclear power plant.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position
SRO license or certification on a PWR or BWR (desired).
