NiSource Energy Efficient C & I Project Manager in Springfield, Massachusetts

Basic Function: Manage Projects for the Companys Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency ProgramScope: The C I Project Manager is responsible for EE project development, management, delivery and tracking of projects within the Companys C I energy efficiency program. The C I Project Manager reports to the C I Program Manager. The project manager is also responsible for representing the Company at state-wide meetings relating to C I customer sector.

Administer and implement the Companys C I energy efficiency program, including day-to-day activities

Interact with customers and other stakeholders in the delivery of energy efficiency products and services

Oversee and manage relationships with third party vendors

Build relationships with local business community to promote energy efficiency

Measure, track and report on the effectiveness of C I energy efficiency projects

Develop C I energy efficiency project analysis and confirm the accuracy of C I energy efficiency project information

Ensure regulatory compliance by meeting annual spending and therms-savings goals

Communicate and coordinate with vendors to identify savings potential, control backlog, and manage workload

Update and maintain Energy Efficiency program tracking database

Represent the Company before state regulatory agencies, statewide collaborative efforts, and other stakeholder meetings related to energy efficiency programs

Produce mandated and ad-hoc reports in a timely and accurate manner

Attend trade shows, outreach activities, open houses, training seminars and other public events

Develop, participate and provide support for marketing and outreach activities related to energy efficiency programs

Coordinate outreach with corporate communications and other departments to produce educational materials on energy efficiency

Required for Selection:

Bachelors in engineering, energy efficiency, or related field

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to learn and operate custom application computer software

Knowledge of basic accounting procedures

Competent in MS Word and Excel

Ability to effectively communicate and work with individuals and organizations

Ability to travel to customer, vendors and off-site events

Demonstrated organization skills

Ability to balance independent and team work environments

Preferred for Selection:

Three to five years experience with energy efficiency program delivery

Experience working in a regulatory environment

Advanced computer skills in Word and Excel

Understands energy efficiency technologies and practices

Energy modeling or engineering-based analysis approach expertise

Certified Energy Manager or equivalent
