This position provides financial and analytical expertise to support the achievement of business goals and strategic objectives. Coordinates the business planning process.

Major Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the annual budgeting process based on planned capacity and client demand for Servco services.

• Evaluate Servco cost components and develop fully loaded rate structure for each organizational unit.

• Develop, implement and analyze cost control and performance reporting tools to improve productivity and competitive position.

• Develop financial decision making skills among Servco associates.

• Coordinate Servco’s capital/expense plan including evaluating and reporting status.

• Prepare specific financial reports including variance analysis, forecasts, and client support reporting; utilize these reports to monitor performance.

• Lead the resource allocation activities for Servco.

• Perform presentations of financial reports and scorecard analysis to Senior management.

• Analyze day-to-day expenditures and variances from budget, work with Servco’s Office Administrator to coordinate Servco reconciliation and develop recovery plans and strategies.

• Respond to client inquiries regarding transfer pricing, accounting, SAP-related billing issues and demand/planning.

• Implement and administer financial business systems and tools (such as, activity-based costing, commitment accounting and project accounting) to assist management in analyzing the potential impacts of its decisions.

• Lead the resource allocation activities for Servco.

Required Skills, Competencies, Education & Experience:

• Bachelors’ Degree or six years professional, relevant experience.

• Three years’ experience working with spreadsheet and database applications. (Excel and SAP)

• Extensive experience working with financial statements, transaction accounting and performance measurement and analysis.

• Demonstrated ability to work with different levels of management

• Strong presentation skills, especially when presenting performance and cost metric goal analysis and the ability to adapt reporting formats for presentation based on audience.

Desired Skills, Competencies, Education & Experience:

• Experience with power plant and/or machine shop operations.
