AREVA Journeyperson Scaffolder in Saskatchewan, Canada
The Journeyperson Scaffolder position reports to the Mill Maintenance Supervisor and the primary responsibility will be to construct scaffolds using “Tube& Clamp” and “Safeway Scaffold” and ensuring the safe use of all scaffolding built on site. Other responsibilities include:
The inspection, maintenance and organization of the scaffolding material.
This position is also responsible for training and developing Trade Helpers, Apprentices and personnel in the proper construction and safe use of scaffolding.
During periods when there is no scaffolding work available, the Scaffolder will be required to assist the other trades (Millwrights, Pipefitters, Welders, and Electricians).
Carpentry ticket with experience in concrete forming / repair, painting or rubberizing is an asset.

Journeyperson Scaffolder certification with 5 years of experience.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Good understanding of occupational health and safety code for scaffold construction.
Rate of pay will be as per the CBA
