As a University & Campus Relations recruiter, you’ll consult with hiring managers, strategic business teams, and other members of Talent Acquisition to build university/campus strategies that source highly qualified diverse talent into the organization. You’ll cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders and have responsibility for Southern California Edison’s brand on target campuses. You’ll be exposed to various Human Resources (HR) functions and contribute to the development of our Talent Acquisition initiatives.
Depending on specific business requirements and needs, the successful candidate may be expected to support the following responsibilities:
Responsible for building a pipeline of stellar, visionary and qualified diverse talent. Duties include: phone screens, interview/selection, candidate follow-up, consulting with hiring managers, developing staffing plans and reports.
Responsible for university/college recruitment strategy and buildingrelationships with campus stakeholders. Planning and coordination of campus events such as information sessions, career fairs, faculty meetings and SCE signature events.
Support and enhance Intern and New Graduate Programs. Organize intern events and social activities, support full-time rotational programs, identify and implement improvements to the programs.
Keep abreast of trends, technologies and changes impacting university/college recruitment.
Leverage all available tools & resources to ensure full utilization and to legal compliance.
Manage campus and office budgets.
Promote SCE safety culture to ensure a safe work environment.
Travel (during peak recruitment periods)
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
3 or more years of recruitment experience (experienced or college).
Experience using Taleo and/or RecSolu, preferred.
Must be able to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment.
