The Talent Acquisition Program and Project Manager will perform a dual role of managing a team of full-life cycle recruiters and also help drive diversity recruitment goals and operational efficiency projects. The successful candidate with work closely with business leaders and Human Resources’ colleagues to execute, measure, and adjust hiring strategies in order to meet short and long term business goals.
Performs sourcing and recruitment of complex technical and/or manager and above roles.
Services as a conduit with Southern California Edison and Edison International organizational units, assesses requests and provides advice to address recruitment needs.
Serves as liaison to drive initiatives, collaborates between stakeholders, process owners, HR Centers Of Excellence (COE) and business clients and facilitates the resolution of staffing/recruitment escalations.
Supports and helps drive recruitment marketing and employment branding initiatives.
Partners with organizational unit leadership to plan and drive highly visible and large scale recruitment efforts such as customer service re-platform and power grid modernization.
Takes action and steps to ensure a positive internal and external candidate experience.
Manage and support employee retention and development.
Organize, manage and/or attend off-site and on-site career events.
Develop talent acquisition metrics in order to identify process and project efficiencies.
Seven or more years of experience in full-cycle recruiting and sourcing with at least three years recruiting for technical and/or leadership positions.
Experience managing or leading a professional team of human resources staff or similar function.
Experience with using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Taleo.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field.
Three years of experience as talent acquisition lead or supervisor.
Proficient experience using social media to promote employer and job announcements to make recommendations and solutions to address large scale workforce projects.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated experience building relationships/partnerships across the company.
Ability to understand customer need and requirements, develop acceptable recommendations for customer, implement approved recommendation, and deliver on commitments within time, cost and resource constraints while ensuring superior level of customer satisfaction throughout the engagement.
Ability to work in an environment where priorities change rapidly and to manage all work to completion in order of priority and as scheduled.
Ability to work with clients to correctly understand client needs, analyze options, research best practices, develop recommendations, obtain client approval of solution, implement solution and complete work/project with high client satisfaction.
