Southern California Edison’s (SCE) Talent Acquisition Department is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual with a passion for recruitment marketing and related technologies to build robust, diverse candidate pipelines. This individual will drive recruitment marketing activities as it relates to talent acquisition including driving awareness, interest, and consideration of SCE as an employer of choice. In light of this goal, this individual may utilize organic and paid strategies in the domains of social media, job boards and their aggregators, SEO/SEM, talent communities, candidate relationship management and more. Ultimately, this channel strategist and brand ambassador will help to connect candidates and prospective candidates with current and future career opportunities at SCE. The successful candidate for this position will have a blend of Recruitment, Marketing, HR, Communications, and Talent Community management experience.
Responsibilities will include:
Developing recruitment marketing strategies and campaigns—including the appropriate platform, objectives and content— to facilitate the attraction of diverse candidate pools.
Managing day-to-day activities as it relates to recruitment marketing campaigns. This includes monitoring, tracking, analyzing metrics across platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Direct Employers, Google Jobs, CareerBuilder, Yello, Taleo, and candidate relationship management tools.)
Playing an active role within online communities and sourcing channels to engage prospective candidates.
Launching hyper targeted campaigns for specific talent segments. Targeting job seekers based on their browsing habits.
Automating passive talent attraction process for niche segments using squeeze pages.
Measuring and analyzing effectiveness of online recruitment campaigns and source effectiveness to inform future strategy.
Assisting in maintaining the Taleo application and creating and administering automated, marketable, and shareable job postings.
Promoting and facilitating online recruitment events, including virtual career fairs.
Creating and delivering email marketing campaigns to encourage prospective candidates to opt in to talent communities and then nurturing these leads with consistent, personalized communication.
Engaging, nurturing, and “keeping warm” silver and bronze medalists, boomerangs/alumni, and employee referrals.
Staying current and forward thinking regarding virtual recruitment and new social media tools, platforms and best practices—particularly as it relates to talent acquisition.
Implementation of Recruitment Marketing Platform and/or Candidate Relationship Management solution.
Branding of automated candidate correspondences within Taleo.
Training Hiring Managers, ERGs, Recruiters and employees on social recruiting and how to more effectively leverage social media and their online networks for finding hard to find talent.
Partnering with various stakeholder groups – including but not limited to Talent Acquisition, Diversity & Inclusion, and Corporate Communications – to craft engaging, corporate-aligned, and SEO-optimized content to target diverse communities.
Facilitating a safety conscious work environment by serving as a role model for others in following Edison safety protocols and safe work practices.
Other duties as assigned.
Four years of experience in Marketing, Communications or HR.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications or a related specialized field; or equivalent combination of training, education or experience.
Two or more years’ experience in talent acquisition.
Two or more years’ experience in social recruitment, including LinkedIn and Glassdoor.
One or more years working with a recruitment marketing platform or candidate relationship management solution (eg Smashfly, Avature, Yello, or similar.)
One or more years’ experience managing job boards and posting inventories.
One or more years’ experience in content development and management.
Strong grasp of candidate source and channel analytics.
Strong grasp of diversity recruitment concepts.
Understanding of SEO, keywords, and social listening tools.
Ability to connect and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization, from entry-level to executives.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
