Job Summary

  • Painting electrical equipment

  • Working with and providing assistance with crane operations and rigging

  • Operating Forklifts to load and unload materials

  • Operating tankers and trailers on the premises only

  • Sampling, transferring and removing oil from transformers

  • Learning to handle insulating fluids/liquids

  • Assisting Shop Electricians and Shop Repairmen/women to perform analysis on failed electrical equipment and identifying components that need to be replaced and/or repaired to refurbish this equipment.

  • Entering critical equipment data into asset tracking module.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

  • 1 year experience working with heavy equipment/machinery or forklift experience (required)

  • Initiative and works within guidelines set forth in the Company Policies

  • Takes personal safety seriously, not only for themselves but also for their coworkers

  • Knowledge of mathematics and possesses mechanical skills

Team player and quick learner capable of working and dealing with multiple and conflicting priorities
