Dominion Energy has an exciting opportunity at our Richmond, VA 8th& Main Office location for an Information Security Analyst. Under general supervision the successful candidate will assist in providing internal security consulting and provide advisory services to internal business and IT stakeholders regarding information security requirements, security policy/standars, security architecture, threat modeling, and ongoing maintenance of the information security risk management program including policies, procedures, technical sytems, compliance, and risk assessment activity. Participate in risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and third-party security reviews to ensure that business partners, applications, networks, and infrastructure components adhere to security standards and policies.
Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the field of Information Security.
Experience in evaluating program, projects, and processes validating system security settings and configurations to determine that they adhere to industry standards and best practices
Ability to contribute as a team member, to all other risk, security, and privacy initiatives and services as appropriate
Ability to assist in promoting awareness of security issues amongst the organization
Ability to participate in the creation and review of information security documents (polices and standards)
Ability to support inclusion of applicable compliance, quality and process standards within all work
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor
