The Supply & Trading Support team is looking for a senior computer analyst to join our team supporting our computer systems and services. Supply & Trading Fuels is a mission-critical business function for SRP with high visibility both internally & externally to SRP responsible for the merchant trading functions for generation & transmission of power to SRP customers.
The Senior Developer position will perform duties related to the design, built, test & deployment of the package of custom software solutions in support of the Supply, Trading, and Fuels business processes. The position will perform troubleshooting, data analysis, recommend solutions, and provide fixes to daily operational issues encountered by the users of the Supply, Trading, and Fuels users.

The position requires working in a collaborative environment to design, develop, deploy & maintain 24x7 supported applications using a structured, release-based software development life cycle (SDLC) met hodology.
Promotion to Level 2 requires a minimum of two years of experience at Level 1; demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by the supervisor. Promotion to Senior Level requires a minimum of three-years of experience at Level 2; is fully competent in all aspects of functional area of assignment and as such would be recognized as a specialist in area of assignment and may have periodic or occasional lead responsibilities.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Complete understanding & application of the Software Development Life Cycle including familiarity with both Waterfall & Iterative development methodologies.
Knowledge of information systems design & maintenance methodology
Knowledge of computer development, hardware, software, operating systems & operating environment.
Knowledge of network configuration, database design, & application web services.
Detailed knowledge of .NET programming language, including strong experience with ASP, .NET, C#, VB .NET, & WCF.
Multiple implementations/years of experience with WPF.
Understanding of date models and logical databases & their evolution to the physical database design.
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio & Team Foundation Server.
Experience with integrating disparate systems.
Experience developing web services.
Stron organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task & prioritize work.
Strong teamwork & collaboration skills.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Experience with Tableau
Experience with Signal R
Experience with Angular JS
Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Other Helpful Skills to Have:
Statistical Analysis Systems (SAS) experience
Familiarity with Power scheduling and trading business processes
Experience with Test Driven Development.
Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.
