Position Specific Description We are hiring a Nuclear Performance Analyst I to be a part of our winning team at Duane Arnold Nuclear Site.

Nuclear Specific Requirements:
Operational practices, nuclear plant technology, or event investigation experience: two (2+) years
Chemistry, Radiation Protection, Training, Maintenance, Work Control or Operations experience: two (2+) years
Additional technical training in performance assessment and demonstrated leadership ability may be considered equivalent to the performance assessment experience requirement
Nuclear Specific Preferences:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or other technical discipline and two (2+) years experience in operational practices, nuclear plant technology, and event investigation
Prior reactor operator or senior reactor operator license or certification and two (2+) years experience in operational practices, nuclear plant technology, and event investigation
Job Overview This job implements fleet and site continuous improvement programs. Employees in this role work to develop corrective actions in processes associated with operations, human operator performance, and concerns stemming from site self-assessment.
Job Duties & Responsibilities • Participates in assessments to find and improve performance gaps • Supports procedure development, revision and review • Participates in root cause investigations related to corrective action and human performance errors • Implements tracking and evaluating indicators • Educates colleagues on performance improvement initiatives • Facilitates screening of corrective actions • Assists with the planning and implementation of self assessments • Collects and analyzes data to evaluate proper implementation and effectiveness of programs and maintains industry and site performance indicators • Prepares status reports to support improvement initiatives • Ensures operating experience is screened and evaluated and corrective actions taken to address opportunities identified • Provides technical direction to less experienced performance coordinators • Performs other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications • High School Grad / GED • Experience:2+ years Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's - Engineering • Master's - Engineering
