JOB SUMMARY:

Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reporting relationships, other relationships:

The overall role of this position is to support HR Systems and SAP design, configuration and ad hoc/custom reporting capabilities related to SAP Organizational Management processes and supporting HR Systems for AVANGRID. Including:

to SAP design specifications and configuration

  • Prioritizing Human Resources responsibilities related requirements.

  • Custom reporting for all AVANGRID companies regarding Organizational Management Structure objects to ensure compliance and data integrity with the AVANGRID HR Administration model and with AVANGRID policies and procedures.

  • Administers the Personnel Costs budgeting process related to the vacancy maintenance plan in SAP.

  • Serves as supporting contact with SAP HR end users and process owners to understand ongoing process requirements (changes, modifications, improvements).

  • Supports Organizational Management object maintenance in SAP including all organizational units, Jobs, Positions, Attributes, Job Descriptions, Planned Compensation and Workers Compensation.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):

  • Develops solutions and/or configuration changes to meet ongoing end user requirements. Implements configuration changes as required and prepares specifications for approved changes to be performed by SAP ITsupport or Global SAP IT support.

  • Maintains knowledge and provides support to HR functions such as headcount reporting, recruitment and compensation for Human Resources business functions and identifies available functionality not currently utilized.

  • Adheres to and understands all departmental internal controls and maintains all departmental processes to ensure compliance.

  • Responds to HR ITSM related requests timely and accurately.

  • Coordinates HR SAP Module testing in Development and Quality environments and documenting results.

  • Assists with HR Audits and Certification requirements regarding system user audits, record retention, crime prevention and SAP segregation of duties.

  • Coordinates integration points between SAP modules to ensure overall process administration.

  • Develops, maintains and updates documentation including Business Process Procedures (BPPs), reference materials, training materials.

  • Supporting the HR systems Manager in new system developments and ensuring the HR function is aware of all new applicable external developments.

  • Provide cover for the HR Systems Manager.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience Required:

  • Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience preferred. Associates Degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience required. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field preferred. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field preferred.

  • Experience in and understanding of HR Information Systems and administrative control procedures in corporate business environment, especially regarding Human Resource policies and governance

  • Experience of IT systems and recent developments in systems/technology including the impacts/ opportunities from digitalization

Skills/Abilities:

  • Possess a high level of attention to detail, analytical competence and technical skills.

  • Ability to interact effectively with global team, management and employees to design effective process/system solutions

  • Result and proactive orientation.

  • Strong communication, time management, scheduling and organizational skills.

  • Exceptional business partner focus skills and the ability to explain matters with confidentiality and tact.

  • Excellent working knowledge of SAP and MS Office.

  • Detailed awareness of IT systems, new technology and digitalization. Preferably in the HR sphere.

  • Awareness off data analytics preferably in the HR sphere
