JOB SUMMARY

Provides support in an ERP business system environment, focusing on PeopleSoft Supply Chain functional modules.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyzes process failures and other PeopleSoft Supply Chain production issues related to Purchasing, e-Procurement, Supply planning and Inventory modules; provides solutions with the least down time.

  • Coordinates project management activities such as identifying the scope, deliverables, conducting design review sessions, go live plans, testing and post production support.

  • Create functional & technical specifications, configuration workbooks, and design documents for PeopleSoft Purchasing, e-Procurement, Supply planning and Inventory modules.

  • Configures systems based on business need without affecting the existing operational procedures and business rules.

  • Identify new functionalities in new PeopleSoft images and map them to ITC business needs in Supply chain areas to ensure best-practice industry standards are met.

  • Reviews and analyzes operations procedures, processes, workflows and system changes to evaluate effectiveness; proposes changes to optimize system and improve productivity.

  • Leads Fit-Gap sessions to identify and document the ‘As-is’ and ‘To-Be’ business processes.

  • Coordinates system/regression testing after patches, when bundles are installed or new features are added; creates scripts for testing the system; assists will all aspects of user acceptance testing

  • Assists business owners in generating month-end and year-end closing financial statements.

  • Collaborates to resolve complex systems issues and plan/test system changes.

  • Analyzes PeopleSoft user roles/permission lists and configure security as per business need and Segregation of Duties requirements.

  • Communicates systems issues to technical and non-technical staff; assembles, analyzes and evaluates business process data; uses advanced data analysis skills and query tools to provide meaningful information to process managers.

  • Creates training materials and conducts training sessions for end users.

  • Requires flexible work schedule to support Applications and required 24/7 support.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT or other related field with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a functional analyst role supporting two or more PeopleSoft related modules eProcurement, Purchasing, Inventory, Supply Planning, and experience in business processes, implementations, enhancements, upgrade projects including documentation for functional business requirements and development of user test scripts as well as experience in targeted high availability environments, as identified in job posting supplement, or relevant, equivalent experience and/or education.

  • Must possess sound analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.

  • Functional knowledge of computer operating systems used in targeted environment, as identified in job posting supplement.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.

Modules: PeopleSoft eProcurment, Purchasing, Inventory, Supply Planning

Tools: Application Designer, SQL Developer, PS nVision, PS/Query, Crystal Reports, XML Publisher and Workflow.
