Develop, implement and measure communications and marketing campaigns to achieve sales/adoption forecasts for product lines and goals for various programs and initiatives that may include Appliance Service Contracts/Replacements, Energy Efficiency programs, and Customer Perception initiatives.
Write and edit content for both external and internal communications. Gather content from varied sources and ensure clear, direct, accurate communications.
Execute promotional and communications tactics as follows - manage the development of customer lists for specific campaigns according to segmentation; manage the development and production of external communication vehicles such as sales collateral, direct mail, bill inserts, email, newsletters, radio, video, product catalogs, digital and social, public relations/press events and website design/content.
Develop, produce, summarize, and analyze media plans and performance reporting on measures of customer and marketing campaign effectiveness. Provide recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.
Work with manager to coordinate corporate sponsorships to effectively leverage these relationships to foster positive customer and employee perception. Entertain potential sponsor requests for meetings as appropriate, review and evaluate proposals in accordance with existing criteria, make recommendations in accordance with budget, assist in negotiation of assets to create value in exposure and messaging, work with manager and procurement to facilitate contract execution, track sponsorship budget. Leverage sponsorship media and related assets to deliver effective customer messaging. Facilitate execution of assets with creative services and corporate responsibility.
Develop presentations for management.
Maintain and apply working knowledge of PSEG Standards for Business Controls and meet management's expectation for effective internal business controls.
Develop and manage program budgets, maintaining campaign budget reporting.
Develop strategies to reduce customer acquisition costs and increase customer response rates.
Manage key vendors and agencies.
Interact regularly with Sales, Operations, Legal, Inquiry, Procurement, Media Relations, Corporate Communications, Creative Services, Product Managers and Reproduction Services
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing/Advertising, or Business plus 5 years of professional experience in a related field.
Proficient with Microsoft applications including Word and Excel and advanced PowerPoint skills.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
MBA or Advanced Degree.
Prior experience working with integrated marketing/communications plans and media campaigns.
Knowledge of utility customer facing processes such as Customer Inquiry, Appliance Service, Media, Website Services.
