Qualifications: The Gas Program and Project Management Group is looking to hire a highly motivated, dedicated professional to join the organization. The success candidate must possess a Bachelor degree in engineering or management with 2 years of work experience, Associates degree with 4 years of work experience or a HS diploma/GED with 5 years of work experience. Detailed knowledge of specifications, drawings, contract documents, prints and diagrams is required. Must be well organized, detail oriented, flexible to handle multiple assignments and able to meet deadlines. Must possess superior oral, written and presentation communication skills and be able to effectively interact with customers, support staff, subordinates and various levels of management. Must be computer literate (MS Office). Must have experience with work tracking systems (Projectwise, CPMS, Gas Work Tracker, ECS, Byers).

Bachelor degree is preferred. Prior experience using Oracle Primavera is preferred.

Responsibilities: Ensure implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Ensure that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations. Conducts and directs project planning and status meetings to ensure schedule and financial adherence to projects are being maintained and significant issues are clearly disseminated to relevant participants. Provides scheduled updates of the engineering, construction and budget status of each project to the appropriate Corporate Executives. Acts as a liaison with regulatory and public officials during project implementation and address potential community concerns associated with the project. Oversees and coordinates construction package reviews, pre award meetings, field visits and pre award field walks. Acts as a single point of contact for Construction for submittal, review and coordination of required information and documents. Assists the General Manager with the coordination, preparation and reporting of significant activities on construction projects and programs. Perform other related tasks and assignments as required. Obtain regular project status updates from various personnel including but not limited to Shared Services, Engineering, Construction, and Cost Management. Obtain regular project status updates from established company systems, including but not limited to Projectwise, CPMS, Gas Work Tracker, ECS, and Byers.

Physical Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed. Must be able to participate in the Company’s emergency management processes and storm plans as required.
