To be eligible for this position, A High School Diploma/GED and five years of experience or an Associate Degree and four years of experience or Bachelor’s Degree and two years of experience in a relevant business or technical area is required. A thorough understanding of productivity and financial reporting systems is required. Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, Time Management Systems and rules relating to pay for union employees are required. Experience in work management system such as MAXIMO preferred. Internal union candidates applying to this position must complete the TEAM program.

Responsibilities: The Specialist will be directly responsible for tracking and maintaining resource allocations; will monitor, oversee data entry, and approve timecards for labor force on a weekly basis. Ensure implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Ensure that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations. Perform general supervisory functions and serve as a direct support to the Manager. Will oversee coordination and publication of the weekly Resource Schedule. The specialist will instruct and train the administrative staff and management team on systems utilized by Construction Services such as MAXIMO, WMS, and HR Payroll System. Will provide guidance to employees and management staff on questions relating to pay and time off. Will maintain working relationships with Information Resources and business partners on issues related to system enhancements and reports. Specialist will delegate and coordinate work assignments for weekly administrative staff to ensure timely and efficient completion of assignments. The Specialist must have the ability to communicate with employees in the union and all levels of management. Candidates must ensure that the Human Performance Improvement (HPI) tools are incorporated into daily job briefings and work activities.

Bachelor’s Degree and Experience in time management systems preferred.

Physical Requirements: Valid driver’s license required. Must be able to travel to various locations throughout the service territory. Must be available to work extended hours during emergencies, as required.
