Contracts and Billing Administrative Assistant

This position is responsible for helping to prepare customer documents from initial bid to job close out as well as providing administrative support to management. Critical for success will be the ability to process accurate work, utilizing excellent attention to detail.
The essential duties and responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:
Assist with administrative tasks specific to the pre-qualification and bidding process.
Coordinates production and distribution of training materials when necessary.
Inspect contracts for correct job set up.
Work with managers and other staff members to ensure proper preparation of invoicing and billing.
Facilitate invoice billing and track payment status.
Maintain Certified Payroll.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualified candidates must have aa strong understanding of Microsoft Suite, an Associate's Degree, five years of related administrative experience or an equivalent combination of both. schooling and experience. Utility construction experience preferred, but not required. Candidates must be able to handle multiple projects at one time, have excellent organizational skills, manage tight deadlines, possess problem solving skills, and demonstrate effective verbal and written communication. A Notary Public licensure is preferred, but ability to be trained and licensed as a Notary Public is acceptable.
