This position will have responsibility for establishing and aligning financial processes across the initiative and collaborating with program leadership to provide timely, accurate reporting and analysis to a wide variety of stakeholders.

Summary

Responsible for providing the strategic counsel, expertise, vision and leadership for identifying, evaluating, implementing and integrating appropriate financial strategies. Works on extremely complex problems with intangible variance factors, exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining financial results. Works closely with senior leadership to ensure they are effectively utilizing existing financial strategies. Provide valuable financial direction to ensure future needs are met. Leads financial evaluations, manages projects and develops business solutions. From a financial perspective, perform complex, confidential studies and analysis. Takes a leadership role in directing and providing expert consultation to Financial Analysts.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing the strategic counsel, expertise, vision and leadership for identifying, evaluating, implementing and integrating appropriate financial strategies. Coordinates the overall business area financial statements. Oversee the development of monthly tracking reconciliation and revisions as required. Oversee the gathering, analysis, preparation and summary of present and future financial budget trends and performance. Responsible for presentations to the Delivery Business Unit management team.

  • Works on extremely complex problems with intangible variance factors, exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining financial results.

  • Works closely with senior leadership to ensure they are effectively utilizing existing financial strategies. From a financial perspective, perform complex, confidential studies and analyses.

  • Provide valuable financial direction to ensure business areas future needs are met. Leads financial evaluations, manages projects and develops business solutions. Serves as financial advocate to the Business Area and various staff organizations.

  • Takes a leadership role in directing and providing expert consultation to Financial Analysts. Effectively manage and assist others in managing change.

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Business Administration, Finance or related discipline

  • 10 years experience in financial or investment analysis or related field

  • Strong computer skills for financial and economic modeling

  • Demonstrated planning, analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Understanding of investment analysis, capitalization and costs, and financial instruments

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member

  • Travel throughout the enterprise is expected

Preferred

  • MBA, CPA or CFA

  • Experience with ERP implementations, large software/process deployments, or other large multi-jurisdictional, transformational projects highly desired

  • Experience working in a complex, matrixed organization
