Position Purpose The student intern will provide human resources support. Seeking a student currently enrolled full time in college to work part-time (20-25 hours/week) during the school year and possibly full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer. Flexibility available for part time semesters around school schedule.
This position will be filled at the level according to the candidate education level: HR Intern I, II, III or IV.
Education & Experience Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program and completed at least one year of college (over 30 semester hours). Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
Requires excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook and Excel).
Above average interpersonal written/oral communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and work effectively in a team environment.
Job Description Assist with the coordination of staffing and related human resource functions in the Corporate HR group.
Assist in preparing for candidate interviews.
Assist with HR-related projects related to the improvement of services to the business.
Interface with managers and employees, and assist with HR-related questions.
Enter, pull, and interpret data and employee information in the human resources information system (HRIS) as necessary.
Basic administration functions such as filing.
All other duties and projects as assigned.
Work Conditions Normal office environment.
Physical Effort Normal office environment.
