This position reports to the Financial and Contracts Manager and assists with Document Controls for the Southland Repowering project.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the initiation and implementation of the document controls, processes and procedures in accordance with the Contract, internal standards and guidelines.

  • Records the receipt of all documents upon receipt at the site or the project.

  • Distributes all documents received at the site or on the project in accordance with the project execution plan.

  • Maintains hard and electronic files, as required, of drawings and other documents.

  • Responsible for all reproduction capabilities on the site or the project.

  • Provide support from the document perspective to all other CMT members.

  • Primary contact with the EPC contractor for all document receipts, transmittals and issue resolution.

  • Implement project reports

  • Implement internal and stakeholder reports, including monthly progress reports, based on input from the Contractor, other project stakeholders and the Construction Management Team (CMT).

  • Attend the periodic progress meetings with Contractor and other stakeholders to support the CMT with recording meeting minutes and follow up action items.

  • Assist in implementing the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and proactively monitor project progress, risks, opportunities and issues to ensure that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken in a timely manner.

  • Performs such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree in business or technical discipline

  • Additional studies and or certification in the document administration or closely related field a plus

  • Previous experience as the document administrator for an EPC contractor on a construction site a plus

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Good computer skills

  • Knowledge of Primavera Unifier or other such document control systems a plus.
