This position will report directly to the Manager, Facilities Operation.


Problem Solving – Seeking a candidate who identifies and prioritizes significant problems and opportunities. Takes logical and systematic approaches to solving problems. Avoids jumping to conclusions prematurely; thoroughly analyzes all aspects of the problem and brainstorms alternative causes and solutions. Effectively uses available data and resources such as written information and/or subject matter experts to solve problems. Considers resource constraints when generating solutions. Considers organizational values when generating solutions.

Decision Making – The successful candidate applies logic to decision making and demonstrates confidence in one's decision making. Identifies and considers several different solutions before making decisions when needed. Recognizes when input from others is needed to make effective decisions. Weighs the costs, benefits, and implications of decisions before making them.

Prioritizing – This position requires someone who appropriately weighs the importance of different criteria for prioritizing work, e.g. customer requirements, supervisor input, etc. Calculates or estimates business impact to determine what work must be completed and when. Frequently reviews priorities and re-prioritizes when required or beneficial. Identifies and effectively uses available tools to record and communicate priorities, such as online project management tools or shared calendars.

Detail Orientation – The ideal candidate sets high standards for work output, attending to every detail and not considering work complete until it complies with standards. Digs into work requirements and asks appropriate questions to ensure that he/she fully understands the expectations, correct processes, and nuances. Is adept at catching subtle defects. Works effectively and harmoniously with others who are less detail-oriented, seeking when possible to leverage each team member's strengths.


  • Analyzes business and automated system processes, and recommends system efficiencies. Proactively identifies improvement opportunities for systems and business processes at the department level.

  • Monitors and maintains appropriate levels of inventory of material, tools, safety gear, and consumable supplies.

  • Incorporates all applicable department processes into the overall Enterprise Asset Management program.

  • Creates documentation of current business processes while identifying process gaps, and creates ‘to-be’ process documentation to resolve them.

  • Preferred knowledge of SAP or other enterprise software and MS Office.


  • High School Diploma, and

  • Two years of related experience, or

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
