Role and Responsibilities

The Fleet Programs Admin Assistant is an operations support role responsible for fleet coordination, program and management. This position is responsible for monitoring and optimizing the utilization of equipment. Position involves budgeting, managing project and monthly equipment fixed cost and variable expenses.

  • Serve as visible single point of contact for operations to recommend and coordinate equipment programs related issues;

  • In concert with operations monitor, and revise preventive maintenance programs in accordance with procedures and policies insuring compliance;

  • Assist with ensuring compliance with pre-trip inspections, DOT compliance and other related auditing and compliance programs;

  • Manage and monitor Fuel Card/Toll Pass program for appropriate usage & distribution of cards and passes;

  • Manage and monitor Telematics system and ensure that appropriate inspections have been performed.

  • Provide training on an on-going basis on fleet maintenance and provide operations with a report showing compliance;

  • Provide operations with weekly feedback via report mechanism on excess equipment in need of movement and how to maximize utilization;

  • Create and maintain equipment reports/databases;

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5 plus years of construction related equipment maintenance experience

  • 2-3 years of creating databases;

  • Experienced with MS Office Suite, Word, Excel, PPT etc.;

  • Must be energetic and a self-starter;

  • Excellent Communications skills and Interpersonal Skills;

  • HS Diploma required.
