Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Shall include but are not limited to:
Understands and adheres to all Local, Corporate Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.
Implements, monitors, and maintains industry best practice maintenance programs
Manages the plant maintenance outages ensuring preparation and planning stages are fully optimised.
Completes technical reviews of plant equipment and systems ensuring suitability, optimisation of performance and maximising of efficiency.
Responsible for effective periodic maintenance plans developed to reduce down-time and increase equipment reliability and availability.
Provides technical support for optimisation of plant performance
Ensures SAP is fully utilized by all team members focusing on accurate submission into the plant historian of as found and post maintenance conditions.
Ensures effective delegation of routine maintenance to operations teams through training and development.
Completes employee appraisals, assessing and satisfying training needs to ensure skill levels are increased and maintained.
Custodian of the plant maintenance budget, maximising cost savings and efficiency of plant performance.
Provides support to the Plant Manager and Senior management team with respect to technical support and record keeping.
