The Systems Analyst leads and provides direction to the functional and technical teams to conceptualize and develop innovative solutions to address complex business issues and problems that have significant impact throughout the customer service technology portfolio. Conducts analysis of business requirements and capability needs, leveraging knowledge of operations, processes, existing solutions and available technologies, in order to design high level technology solutions. Acts as an internal consultant in identifying and addressing long term business issues. Plays a key role with project teams to identify, develop and implement leading edge technologies. Leads teams of internal and external experts on projects with broad and long-term impact on the Company and technology portfolio. Leads teams to prepare project plans, forecasts and budgets resources and acts as a consultant to senior management.
Leads the analysis and the development of business and system requirements, as well as, design specifications to address complex business needs. Leads project delivery through analysis, estimation, design, evaluation, demonstration, construction, testing, and implementation.
Performs problem analysis and directs the implementation of resolutions and mitigations.
In conjunction with the Project Manager, coordinates with other IT organizations (Enterprise Architecture, Service Management and Cyber Security) to lead the technical work and ensure results meet requirements, analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation needs.
Functions as a lead subject matter expert for complex systems.
Functions as a key resource or consultant to management, IT and client organizations on specific project, program, functional, or strategic issues.
Influences long range business and computing strategy decisions, which may have a major impact on operations.
- Eight or more years of experience in defining system requirements, project scope, and performing cost/benefit analysis.
Bachelor degree in Information Systems or related field or an equivalent combination of formal education, training, and experience.
Broad knowledge of one or areas in the customer service portfolio.
Five or more years of experience writing professional, technical documentation and reports and experience verbally presenting to technical and business clients.
Five or more years of experience supporting projects and performing critical projects role functions.
Experience with SAP CRM and\or IS-U application modules.
