Job Summary

Join a dynamic training team focused on building employee competence across company process areas that meet technical, environmental, compliance and safety requirements with limited supervision and direction in a centralized, state-of the art facility located in Boston Heights, OH. This second-tier role is for talented individuals who wish to pursue a career path in technical training. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering technical training curriculum for all job classifications and supporting the next generation of employees. Responsibilities will include classroom instruction, scenario-based and emergency response exercises, plus refresher and on-the-job training. Collaborate with business partners across operations to receive constructive feedback on training methods, materials, and facilities. Partner with designated company area SME's to further develop professional knowledge and abilities that reinforce evolving learning objectives insuring that Company policy, procedures and regulatory requirements are met. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and education required for entry into this job include the following:3+ years of facilitation experience in a technical classroom setting. Proficient knowledge of training and adult learning methods Proficient oral and written communication skills Demonstrated classroom facilitation skills in one designated company process area Proficient planning and organizational skills Proficient computer skills and knowledge and use of various software programs Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment Demonstrated technical writing skills Demonstrated ability to interpret codes, regulations, and practices Demonstrated ability of industry specifics including safety, environmental, and compliance standards and requirements Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple tasks Knowledge of pipeline safety regulations Knowledge of gas distribution policies, work methods, equipment and technologies Possesses a valid driver's license and safe driving history.
