Position Summary

Generate or develop reports using defined reporting tools which may include statistical analysis for specific program processes. Handle details and assignments of a confidential nature. Exercise independent judgment and initiative while performing analytical duties to support Corporate and Business Unit objectives. Research problems and communicate with all levels on problem resolution. Support various programs and systems, and train internal customers on those programs and systems. Position may have concentration in specific business areas, processes or systems. This position can be filled at one of our locations in Henderson, CO, Denver, CO, Minneapolis, MN and Amarillo, TX.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Develop plans and lead independent projects that improve processes. Proactively Plan and communicate project milestones, obstacles, and progress. Serve as the primary interface for assigned Program/System Administration activities utilized by Supply Chain to support business processes and corporate wide employees. Investigate problems, identify root causes and suggest and implement potential solutions.

  • Customer/System Support/Problem Resolution: Perform in-depth analysis and research on internal/external customer questions, software, system or transactional problems. Provide customer service support as a technical and informational resource in order to resolve questions/issues to improve corporate or business unit results.

  • Analysis/Reporting/Problem Resolution: Identify opportunities to Gather and interpret data (cost, productivity, trends, etc.) to drive continuous improvement opportunities. Analyze, prepare and present reports to ensure data accuracy and resolve identified issues. Support analysis and research of audit questions. Use reporting tools to generate or develop reports from various data sources. Use other software packages such as Access and Excel, to track and graph data.

  • Process/System Documentation/Training: Lead the development of Process and System user documentation, corporate policies, and procedures. Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities. Assist and develop training on departmental systems and processes.

  • Auditing: Proactively Conduct independent reviews of critical Supply Chain processes and documents to ensure compliance with departmental, corporate and regulatory guideline, as requested. Assist with SOX testing as needed to drive continuous improvement to meet corporate and business unit objectives. Drive completion of all internal and external audit requests. Audit and correct errors and advise personnel on procedures to process transactions accurately. Ensure compliance with associated corporate and regulatory requirements, such as sales tax, SOX, IRS, and FERC, using a variety of systems. Supports audits led by others.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Finance, Law, Accounting or equivalent experience required

  • Excellent customer/communication skills. Must be approachable, flexible, customer focused, self-motivated, results and team-oriented

  • Learns new tasks, tools, systems, and processes and develops skills quickly

Preferred Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a supply chain field

  • Demonstrated skills and intermediate-level experience in associated software applications, including Excel and Access or statistical analysis or equivalent data analysis packages

  • Basic knowledge/experience with systems typically used in Supply Chain, such as Payment Processing systems, e-Sourcing Systems, Expense Management Systems as well as associated reporting and analysis tools

  • Basic project management skills and knowledge
