Under direct to moderate supervision perform activities related to processing non-electric service account billings; maintain joint use companies; maintain SOX control activities; create and process proposals and invoices; create performance indicator reports communicating with internal customers on results, perform basic and routine administrative duties following well defined standard procedures; assist with document processing; assist in filing and retrieval of information in both hard copy as well as electronic formats. Must be customer focused and detail oriented with problem solving initiative.

Principal Accountabilitie s

Under direct to moderate supervision, process detailed documents for phone and cable companies with facilities attached to company owned poles. Process joint use proposals for both internal and external customers. This includes tracking the additions, removals and transfers to and from I&M owned poles as well as foreign owned poles. Consistently and effectively collaborate with internal technical staff, as well as external customers. Become familiar with and establish a firm understanding of the joint use contract language to be able to assist in educating internal and external customers. Verify pole ownership via effective written and verbal communication and accurately documenting that communication to ensure proper billings. Maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheet for billings and accurately prepare invoices in PeopleSoft. Serve as a liaison between I&M and Corporate Utility Business Development and Joint Use personnel to stay updated on process and software changes and relay that information to affected operating company personnel. Maintain a monthly performance indicator for proposal tracking to ensure compliance with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) guidelines and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance.

Minimum Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent --General Education Diploma (GED) Experience: One year experience working in an office setting using administrative office procedures, practices and equipment.
