The attorney will provide legal support on a variety of general/commercial issues with an emphasis on procurement contracting to support corporate and energy business strategies. The successful candidate will possess:
Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills.
The ability to work independently
The ability to understand and perform within a broad policy perspective.
Bachelor’s degree plus professional degree, Juris Doctor or equivalent, and successful admission to the Minnesota State bar.
Coursework in contract law is required.
Attorney I: No experience required once educational requirements are met; 3+ years experience preferred.
Attorney II: Three or more years of relevant legal experience; commercial contracting and renewable energy experience are a plus; 5+ years experience preferred.
