Summary

Provides technical and financial analyses for energy conservation, resource planning, and rates-related regulatory filings. Manages cross-functional project teams for Business Unit strategic initiatives, focused particularly on retail and delivery business unit regulatory initiatives. Develops and operates complex business and financial models to determine cost effectiveness and strategic value of demand-side management and demand response programs and activities.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide financial and technical analyses for energy conservation, resource planning and rates-related regulatory filings, particularly as they relate to CIP/DSM programs.

  • Develop and operate complex business and financial models to assess cost effectiveness and strategic value of demand-side management and demand response programs.

  • Manage cross-functional project teams for Business Unit strategic initiatives.

  • Maintain constructive relationships with external (regulators and other stakeholders) and internal customers. Develop arguments and analytical support for regulatory filings for CIP/DSM programs.

  • Complete Special Projects related to regulatory issues as required.

  • Communicate regulatory issues across Business Unit.

Required

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 7 year experience working in financial modeling, business planning, regulatory process, marketing and/or project management (Additional education may substitute for some years of experience)

Preferred

  • Experience with financial modeling (analytic modeling and net present value analysis)

  • Experience working in an utility and/or energy company

  • Experience with managing energy efficiency programs
