Functional System Architect
Designs, develops, implements systems or system changes. Provides functional support of applications within assigned business unit. Serves as a subject matter expert and manages the development and implementation of application projects including defining functional requirements, preparing business, case documentation, prioritizing IT and business related work , providing functional direction to IT staff, developing and coordinating application testing and coordinating project implementations . Provides application support by assisting support staff in investigating and resolving application issues. Works with business unit employees to define, analyze, design and document business processes and associated applications.
Provides assistance and guidance to employees across the corporation in the proper use of applications. Coordinates changes with other applications and ensures compliance with functional and architectural standards.
Participate in the design and development of functional specifications and user
Interfaces for application enhancements with moderate direction from senior staff.
Participate in the development of business case documentation.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (test plans, test cases).
Participate in the development of training plans and training materials.
Participate in the development of release plans.
Assist support staff in investigating and resolving application issues.
Provide assistance and guidance to employees across the corporation in the proper use of applications.
Lead moderate sized application projects including budget development and management, schedule development and tracking, status reporting and resolution of project issues.

Minimum Requirements for Functional System Architect:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT or Engineering, Math or Statistics
OR Associate’s degree in Business, IT or Engineering, Math or Statistics plus (2) years related experience.
Experience: (5) Years of Experience with Bachelor’s Degree
(7) Years of Experience with Associate’s Degree to include any experience listed above.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred
