In this role you would be on a team with seven other individuals performing work under the direct supervision of a Manager assisting in development and accumulation of data and information that supports Customer Care & Billing (CC&B), Load Research, metering, billing, and customer contact. Job Responsibilities As a Meter Data Specialist I, duties include, but are not limited to: Collects, translates, verifies, edits, monitors, and maintains data from customer and metering information technologies.Receives, verifies, and monitors data from multiple metering sources and systems (i.e., CC&B, meter readers, Itron meter reading systems, Metretek, MV90 and RNI/MDM).Analyzes data gaps and identifies problems related to system functionality, data, and interfaces. Works with others to resolve problems and ensures they are solved in a timely manner; documents and communicates errors and solutions to appropriate personnel.Performs basic compilation of information to provide data and support to operations, regulatory, engineering, and other internal departments.Provides support to other departments and internal customers to answer questions regarding functionality, business processes, and proper use of meter reading equipment. Troubleshoots and manages day to day operational issues.Works with software support personnel, meter shops, and field personnel regarding account and meter information, testing and installation of records and software, monitoring and identifying malfunction, and updating and maintaining systems related to customer information.Develops, reviews, and prepares documentation that supports training, manuals, procedures, or processes in the department.All other duties as assigned.
