Description

The Rental Equipment Coordinator must ensure rental property is returned and/or transferred to and from sites. Critical for success is the ability to deliver exemplary customer service through strong ownership and professionalism while maintaining accuracy and urgency.

The essential duties and responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:

  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.

  • Serve as a point of contact for vendors and internal personnel for all equipment needs. Perform “best in class” customer service to ensure needs are met.

  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and requisitions: secure price advantages of quantity buying; compose bid quotations, analyze bids received, and outline performance standards, tolerances, and warranties.

  • Perform transactional data entry into systems with a high degree of accuracy. Scan, organize, and file documents.

  • Identify vendors of services equipment, or supplies; interview to determine product availability and terms of rental.

  • Coordinate the movement and return of rental equipment.

  • Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports utilizing appropriate reporting tools.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and one to three years of related experience. Previous equipment experience is preferred. Applicants must be able to manage tight deadlines, demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate with various levels of management and proficiency in computer software skills. Other qualifications include organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
