Application Developer II
Location: Brownsville, WI Corporate Office

This position will create custom applications and processes within existing software. In addition, will partner with the IT Business Systems Solutions Team and various business units within the organization to identify solutions that will increase efficiencies and expand the level of system integration.
The essential duties and responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
Confer with users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs. Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
Partner with other IT functions to ensure proper planning and scheduling of all tasks required on projects.
Assist with development and completion of the testing plans for all new solutions.
Ensure all training and support documentation is developed and remains current.
Act as a point of escalation for Service Desk incidents and requests
Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.
Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference.

Qualifications include an Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree and at a minimum three to five years of relevant development/programming experience. In addition, one must have demonstrated working knowledge of Visual Studio, C#.Net, VB.Net, TFS, ASP.Net MVC, Microsoft SQL server and/or MYSQL database engines. Qualified candidates would have effective oral and written communication, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail, professional attitude, exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask.
