Idaho Power Company located in the heart of beautiful downtown Boise is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Analyst to join our Supply Chain team. Why consider Idaho Power as your next employer? The Supply Chain Analyst:

  • Develops statistical measurements and reports

  • Performs data analysis and provides recommendations which support Supply Chain Management.

  • Makes effective and informed decisions related to cost management, Procurement, Materials Services and Inventory Management.

  • Develops, analyzes and presents appropriate Supply Chain metrics to measure and track Supply Chain and vendor performance.

  • Works collaboratively with Supply Chain personnel to support and monitor internal processes.

  • Evaluates opportunities and makes recommendations for cost savings, efficiencies, and continuous process improvements.

  • Assists with budget preparation, processing and analysis.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Knowledge of:

  • Advanced understanding of ERP and financial database systems

  • Reporting Applications.

  • Train internal customers on Supply Chain policies, procedures and tools

  • Present to management or other employees

  • Communicate with various levels of suppliers and employees, including management

  • Work with minimal supervision; work in a regulated or compliance oriented environment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, supply chain management or related field.

Prefer

  • Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in accounting, finance, statistics, supply chain management or related field.

Experience:

  • Three years professional experience in supply chain analysis, statistical analysis, accounting, or finance.

Prefer

  • Five years professional experience in supply chain analysis, statistical analysis, accounting, finance, with data base analysis, process improvement, or project management experience.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge

  • SQL Query language experience

  • Microsoft Power BI experience

  • Alteryx data analysis tool experience

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record based on driving requirements for the position.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Makes decisions or recommendations as to significant or complex business issues after considering various independently analyzed alternatives. Assists in the development of category business plan and category segmentation and performance tracking. Provides analytical support in the development and execution of category strategies.
